Flexible Module Design
Digi XBee® modules are available in multiple form factors. These include through-hole, surface-mount and compact options for space-constrained designs.
Built on Silicon Labs technology, they support both high-performance and low-power configurations. This makes them suitable for battery-powered sensor networks.
The modules also include edge processing capabilities. Developers can run MicroPython applications directly on the device. This supports local decision-making and reduces cloud dependency.
Scalable Network Management
Digi XBee Hive border routers provide scalable network coordination. They support connectivity for hundreds of nodes.
The routers include Ethernet, with optional cellular and Wi-Fi connectivity. They also offer edge computing capabilities for local processing and data aggregation.
For remote management, tools such as Digi Remote Manager allow secure monitoring and updates. This reduces the need for on-site maintenance and improves efficiency.
