The SARA-R52 series offers two variants: one for general LTE connectivity and another featuring an additional GNSS receiver. The SARA-R520M10 variant integrates the u-blox M10 GNSS receiver, delivering superior positioning data alongside LTE communication, ideal for continuous or cyclical tracking applications. Meanwhile, the SARA-R520 model incorporates SpotNow for location information, a cost-optimized positioning feature powered by the UBX-R52 chipset, eliminating the necessity for a separate GNSS receiver. SpotNow employs a power-efficient assisted GPS receiver solution, tailored for intermittent tracking scenarios.
