u-blox LENA-R8 modules provide straightforward global LTE Cat 1 connectivity, supporting 13 LTE bands and four 2G bands. This feature streamlines logistics for IoT devices deployed across various regions with differing band requirements.

These modules cater to diverse GNSS-dependent applications, from advanced standalone solutions to plug-and-play experiences through the LENA-R8001M10 variant, which incorporates u-blox M10-based GNSS. Dedicated interfaces grant access to the cellular modem and GNSS subsystems, offering flexibility in usage. Users can operate both subsystems independently, enabling performance optimization and efficient power consumption. Additionally, CellLocate, a network-based cellular location service, is supported by these modules.
