The US232R is FTDI’s premium USB to RS232 converter cable suitable for connecting RS232 legacy devices to a PC. The electronics are housed in an attractive glossy white enclosure with blue, side-lit LED TX and RX traffic indicators. The white USB cable uses gold plated USB and DB9 connectors. Driver support is available for Windows, Apple Mac OSX, Linux and Android.
As an alternative, you might want to consider the US232R-100-BLK-01 sourced from the Far East by Alpha Micro Components.
