LTE Cat 4 IoT module with 2G fallback

The CQS291 is part of Cavli’s C-Series family of LTE Cat 4 smart IoT modules, delivering data speeds of up to 150 Mbps downlink and 50 Mbps uplink, with 2G fallback for extended coverage. Designed for Android-based applications, it features a quad-core Cortex-A53 CPU and an integrated Adreno™ 702 GPU, enabling high-performance computing, advanced graphics, and exceptional image rendering.

Available in global variants with multiple memory configurations, the CQS291 supports multi-constellation GNSS, including GPS, BDS, GLONASS, Galileo, QZSS, and SBAS for precise positioning. Additional interfaces include USB 3.1 Type-C/Micro USB, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and FM radio. For global deployment, an optional integrated eSIM is available, enabling seamless connectivity through the Cavli Hubble IoT platform.

Specifically optimized for two-wheeler automotive applications, the CQS291 is built on the QWM2290 chipset and incorporates Qualcomm's LA2.1 Automotive Middleware, offering advanced telemetry and device management features. It retains the same processing and GNSS capabilities as the CQS290 but is uniquely tuned to meet the operational and environmental demands of two-wheeler vehicles, making it ideal for automotive-grade IoT solutions.
